Aggressive solvents strip colour and break down fibre over time. A garment cleaned gently twenty times looks better than the same garment cleaned harshly five times. The environmental case and the garment care case point the same way.
It also matters for the people in the building. Our staff spend eight hours a day with these processes, and that shaped the decision as much as anything else did.

What you can do at your end
Most of the waste in dry cleaning is packaging, and that part is easy to fix.
Give hangers back
Leave your old hangers in the bag. We take them back and reuse them.
Ask for a reusable bag
We will swap the disposable cover for a reusable garment bag on request.
Clean less often
We will tell you when something does not need cleaning yet. Over cleaning wears clothes out.
Combine your orders
One larger collection instead of three small ones means fewer van miles to your door.

Is eco friendly cleaning as effective?
Yes. It is gentler on the fibre, not weaker on the stain. Stains are treated by hand either way.
Do you take hangers back?
Yes. Leave them in the bag and we reuse them.
Can I avoid the plastic cover?
Ask for a reusable garment bag when you book and we will use that instead.
Is it more expensive?
No. It is the standard process here, not an upgrade you pay for.
